Audrey Moss WINS STATEWIDE VIDEO CONTEST

Lassiter High sophomore Audrey Moss earned first place in the 2024 “Student Section Spirit Challenge,” a statewide competition for 5A to 6A schools organized by the Georgia High School Association’s Student Athlete Advisory Council (eastcobber.com).

Her 2½-minute video reel captured the energy of Trojan Nation with bright stadium lights, enthusiastic fans, and exciting athletic moments. It was showcased on the giant screen at Mercedes Benz Stadium during halftime of the GHSA State Football Championship.

Audrey discovered her passion for sports videography after being diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a heart condition that made cheerleading physically challenging. To stay connected with her team, she turned to video editing. Using LumaFusion’s stabilizer feature to compensate for hand tremors, she created highlight reels for Jr. Trojan Cheer, varsity cheer, football, basketball, softball, lacrosse, and powder puff. Coaches gave her the creative freedom to experiment and tell each story in her own style.
