Lassiter High School’s student section, Trojan Nation, has been named GHSA Student Section of the Year for the 5A–6A classification for the second straight year. Known for its high energy, creativity, and positive sportsmanship, the group continues to set the standard for school spirit across Georgia.

Lassiter High School’s Trojan Nation is celebrating another major win. For the second year in a row, the student section has been named the top in Georgia by the GHSA, earning statewide recognition for its energy, creativity, and unwavering school spirit.

Audrey Moss, a junior at Lassiter High School, turned a personal setback into a creative outlet by capturing school spirit through sports and event videography. Known as “Moss Media,” her energetic videos celebrate Lassiter athletics and student life, helping unite the school community and amplify Trojan pride.

The Lassiter Trojans ended a six-year losing streak to rival Pope High School with a decisive 49-7 victory on September 19th, marking head coach Sean Thom’s first win over the Greyhounds.

The Lassiter Trojans are off to a 3-0 start and just earned Fox 5’s High 5 Sports Team of the Week honor. The celebration brought packed stands, school spirit, and extra motivation as they aim for 4-0 tonight at Western Night.

The Lassiter Trojans are starting their season off strong with a 2-0 winning streak. They dominated the field at Midtown and won 44-12. They brought the same energy over an hour away at Alexander highschool and won 35-24.
