Lassiter High School is living up to their “Best Student Section in Ga for the 5a-6a region” title from GHSA
Last school year, 2024-2025, GHSA titled Lassiter High School as having the best student section in Georgia for the 5a-6a region. This year the students are still carrying out that title! On August 15th Lassiter played Midtown, over 40 minutes away, and even with the distance had a student section cheering through the whole entire game including two lightning delays! Then on August 22nd at Alexander High School, over an hour away, the Trojans had a small but mighty student body cheering them on.
This past Friday Lassiter High School had their first home game of the season and the stands were absolutely packed! The theme was class colors and you could see the sea of colors all the way up to the last row in the stands! The front row was filled with seniors rocking their black class color with shoulder pads, Trojans painted across their chests, and pom-poms waving in the air. The rest of the stands were also packed with students rocking their class colors wearing white, maroon, and gold! There were pom-poms being passed around, big heads, flags, and more.
The cheerleaders, mascots, and band were pumping up the stands throughout the entire game. Leading the student section with cheers like “Do It” “Supa Sousa” and “T4L get hype”. The student section also had some of their own chants like “I believe that we will win” “let’s go Trojans” and more! This upcoming Friday the Trojans are taking on Creekview High School. The theme is Western so wear your best western fits to cheer the Trojans on for another victory making their record 4-0! Let’s continue being the best student section is Georgia for the 5a-6a region!
